]]> Drive down 271 on a Sunday and you’d think La Finca is the only place open in the county from the number of cars and trucks parked all over the block.

La Finca is definitely a staple of Gilmer Texas cuisine. From humble beginnings, they have a building built brand new from the ground up after bulldozing the old one that had been added on to over the years. It’s a beautiful place that seats quite a few people. Official website.

Standard Tex-mex menu for the most part with a few surprises, and they have a bar. I recommend the green salsa over the red salsa with the chips.
